MEASUREMENT OF THE CRANKSHAFT LINE



SOFT MATING SURFACE STRAIGHTEN FOR ELIMINATION OF DIRTS AND GLUE.




AFTER A COMPRESSED AIR SESSION AND A PERFECT MATING SURFACES,  BOTH HALF CRANKCASE GET ASSEMBLED WITHOUT ANY BEARINGS, EXCEPT THE N°8 BEARING IN PLACE WITHOUT THE CENTER PIN.


WRENCH 
SET UP AT 5 Kg.m / 50 N.m



3.6L ENGINE REQUIRED : 

5 Kg.m / 50N.m FOR THE M10 BOLTS & NUTS.

 2.5 Kg.m / 25 N.m FOR THE M8 ONES AROUND THE FLYWHEEL AND PULLEY AREAS.

GENTLY TIGHTEN FIRST GENERALLY

 STARTING FROM THE CENTER (N° 4 BEARING) 

(with a long piece of wood tap the n°8 bearing out of his place before tightening around it)

EVERYBODY NICELY TO TORQUE SPEC.





SETTING THE MEASUREMENT TOOLS 








OUT OF SPEC., 

NEED TO BE MACHINED FOR A 0.25mm OVERSIZED BEARINGS BORE


RODS CHECK


CON ROD ASSEMBLED WITHOUT BEARINGS


WRENCH SET UP AT 5 Kg.m / 50 N.m
